An Adult Education leader with a specific focus on the impact of power, privilege and social location, I've committed my career to cultivating communities and advancing equity and liberation among purposely excluded populations. Throughout my journey, I've raised over $15 million for nonprofit and charitable organizations, spearheaded multimedia storytelling and fundraising campaigns, and led workshops focused on social justice, anti-racism, body liberation, and cross-cultural understanding.
The personal is professional
In this messy world, I've come to believe that courage isn't just a skill to be taught but a practice to be refined. I firmly stand by the fact that small actions can catalyze significant change. Understanding our relationship to power and privilege and leveraging that understanding is crucial for collective liberation. Moreover, I value lived experience as an underrated skill set and advocate for expanding our perspectives, values, and communities.

In my teaching I share the tools I’ve learned—yoga philosophy, feminism, anti-oppression praxis, social location, intersectionality, and the implicit influences of access to power and privilege, to change the way students think and feel about themselves and culture
